High Quality Small Particle Size Ammonium Polyphosphate Flame Retardant for Epoxy Adhesive

TF-201S is an ultra-fine ammonium polyphosphate with low solubility in water, low viscosity in aqueous suspensions, and a low acid number. It provides excellent flame-retardant properties to adhesives and sealants when added to the base formulation at a rate of 10 - 20%. This product is particularly effective as an "acid donor" in intumescent coatings due to its low water solubility,when applied to steel structures, intumescent paints containing. TF-201S can meet the fire resistance requirements specified in standards such as EN, DIN, BS, ASTM, and others. In addition to steel, TF-201S based intumescent coatings can also be used on wood and plastics, allowing these materials to qualify for Building Material Class B (according to DIN EN 13501-1). Furthermore, TF-201S can be utilized in transport applications to achieve favorable fire, smoke, and toxicity results as per EN 45545. This flame retardant is (bio-)degradable, breaking down into naturally occurring phosphate and ammonia. It is also non-halogenated and has a favorable environmental and health profile. It is particularly well-suited for flame retardancy in EVA materials.
